If you are waiting for an assessment/operation in your home county council and they cannot meet the requirement to offer you care within the care guarantee (90 days), you have the right to apply to Huddinge Ortopedia via a so-called care agreement.
It is the same patient fee that applies as if you had sought care in your region, high-cost cards and free cards apply. Medical trips are included, but you have to pay your own fee.

Huddinge Ortopedia has a county council agreement with the Stockholm county council in orthopedics, which allows you to apply directly to us for your orthopedic problems. The new Patient Act gives you the right to seek outpatient care throughout the country, so even if you do not live in Stockholm, you can seek help from us for your orthopedic problems via our county council agreement.

If you choose to come to Huddinge Ortopedia as a free-of-choice patient, the same patient fees apply as if you had sought treatment in your region. High-cost cover and free cards apply, but medical trips do not, you have to cover the cost yourself.

If you have healthcare insurance, call your insurance company and report your problems. Huddinge Ortopedia has close cooperation with almost all insurance companies. The insurance company will then help you book a quick appointment with one of our specialist trained doctors for an examination and possible investigations.
During the examination, a diagnosis is made with suggestions for continued treatment. The insurance company then makes a decision as to whether your insurance covers the recommended treatment proposal.
