The patient committee is an independent and impartial body that can inform you about your rights in healthcare. They can also give you advice and support if you want to seek compensation for damage you suffered in connection with care. The patient committee can help you as a patient or a relative to bring complaints to the organization and ensure that they are answered. The patient committee does not investigate complaints itself, but functions as a support for you and as a link to the business.
